It was a beautiful day for the 100 plus cars to compete for the beautiful acrylic awards. The show is normally held downtown. But since they had the streets torn up, the show was moved to the fairgrounds on the south part of town. The show was held in a field near the food venders. This area allowed you to have as much space as you wanted around your vehicle. They awarded Top 35 for 1975 and older, Top 10 1976 and newer, Top 3 Rat Rods, Club Participation and 5 Special Awards. They also had dash plaques and door prizes. They had five drawings for $100 each. The judging was excellent and the awards were at 3:00 PM. This is a well organized, well run show. Put this one on your to-do list!"
